The agreement was signed on Wednesday, June 24 in Zgierz. According to the document, the Air Ambulance Service will commit to provide priority assistance to the Territorial Defense Forces in a situation where their life or health is threatened. In addition, both parties will participate in joint training sessions where the Territorial Defense Forces soldiers will learn how to prepare victims for air transport.
As Colonel Marek Pietrzak, the press spokesman of the Territorial Defense Forces, explains signing the agreement is the result of increasing involvement of Territorial Defense Forces soldiers in various types of crisis operations. "This cooperation is to increase the safety of soldiers, as they will be able to call Air Ambulance Service helicopter as a priority during their official activities." - said Colonel Pietrzak.
