After the AEG new releases from LCT Airsoft (Electrifying new products from LCT Airsoft at MOA 2025), it’s time for the gas-powered updates. During the MOA trade show, alongside AEG replicas, we could also find new gas-powered products at the LCT Airsoft booth.
AK HPA

The first announced items are AK replicas in a new form — variants with a factory-installed mechanical HPA engine from Mech Labs. It has not been specified whether only selected products will enter the lineup or whether the entire range of AK replicas from LCT Airsoft will be included.

AK GBB
Moving on to blowback replicas, two new gas-powered projects from LCT Airsoft were presented. The first is a prototype gas-powered AK replica using a system inspired by the Tokyo Marui standard, with some proprietary modifications. Which specific replicas will receive the new system? This has not been clarified. At the moment, development work is ongoing, and the official release is expected around the third or fourth quarter of next year.

AR-AK

A surprising addition at the LCT Airsoft booth was a completely new type of replica. This one resembles the Mk.47 carbine (though it is not a perfect copy of the CMMG design). Under the AR-AK designation, we find the result of cooperation with Global BB Lab (GBL), known for the Ukrainian KRUK conversion (Global BBs Lab with the "Kruk" tactical conversion kit for the AK). The replicas combine elements from two platforms: AR (overall AR-style outline, buffer tube with stock, pistol grip, selector, handguard) and AK (magazines, internal parts, charging method). As seen in the photos, two variants of the replica were presented — one featuring a recreation of the AR-style receiver, bolt, charging handle, and dust cover, and another with a distinctly different receiver and a different bolt assembly with a fixed charging handle.

The replicas were available for testing, which demonstrates the advanced stage of the project. This is also reflected in the announced release window (around three months), although the production models should not be expected to be identical to the ones shown at the event.
PKT-1

The first gas-powered replica from LCT Airsoft, the PKT-1, could not be omitted. This Hi-Capa replica from LCT Airsoft features many improved and desirable elements, such as steel trigger mechanism components, an adjustable trigger, factory optics mount, and a factory-installed TDC hop-up system.
