Despite the fact that the trade show took place in Taiwan, there was also an opportunity to take a look at a rather exotic replica. This refers to the KoreanDaewoo Precision Industries K2 rifle (now SNT Motive), which replica was produced by the Taiwanese company Marksman. The original design comes from the Korean Peninsula and was created for the needs of the Republic of Korea Armed Forces to replace the earlier K1 rifle.
K2 Daewoo Precision Industries
The K2 replica was designed around the gas-powered system standard of Vega Force Company replicas, made of aluminium (cast lower and upper receivers) and steel (outer barrel assembly, gas tube, controls, bolt assembly). Internally, the replica uses the parts of Vega Force Company replicas, although additional modifications are introduced from the start. This includes the factory-installed NPAS adjustment in the nozzle and a trigger mechanism with some dedicated components.

Additionally, the replica reproduces the 4 selector positions (safe, burst, semi, auto). It was presented in two variants: classic (enhanced only with an additional top rail for optics) and modernized with an M-LOK handguard, an integrated top rail, and a stock in the AR-15 standard (the adapter seen in the photos is 3D-printed).

Thanks to the faithful reproduction, the replica features manufacturer markings, a serial number, and the ability to mount original parts such as the pistol grip, handguard, or stock. The announced availability is mid-2026, with a price of around 700 US dollars.
K5 Pistol
Another Korean highlight at the trade show was the replica of the K5 pistol, also a firearm used by the Republic of Korea Armed Forces. The design adopted in the late 1980s has no direct equivalent. A distinctive feature of the K5 pistol (and its replica) is the trigger mechanism offering three modes instead of Single Action/SA or Double Action/DA.

With this pistol, it is possible to cock the hammer and then place it in a resting position while keeping the trigger mechanism cocked. This results in a unique trigger feel with a relatively long pull but without the resistance typical of Double Action. The replica also reproduces the operation of this system, using dedicated magazines.
Inside, we will find a TDC-style hop-up. On the outside, the replica will feature manufacturer markings (SNT Motive), a fixed front sight, and two color variants. The entire construction will be made similarly to the original—cast aluminium and steel parts. The expected price or availability has not been announced.
