Staccato, the American premium brand of pistols from the Colt 1911 family, has just presented its new proposal for concealed carry. The Staccato HD C3.6 model combines an unusual construction approach and smaller dimensions designed for just that purpose.

Like other models in the Staccato HD family (Staccato HD - innovations in the guise of 2011 9mm), it combines elements from various designs such as iron sights from the SIG P320/CZ75 family, Glock-standard 9mm magazines, and the overall base of the Colt 1911 family.

There are two variants of the slide to choose from, differing in the presence of porting and iron sights (standard or tritium). The slides are compatible with a wide range of optics using dedicated mounting plates. As the name suggests, the HD C3.6 model features a 3.6-inch Bull barrel in either raw stainless steel or DLC carbon coating. The pistol frame is made of aluminum and houses manipulators on both sides, such as a safetyswitch, slide stop lever, and magazine release with the option of ambidextrous operation. The traditional grip safety from the 1911 family is not present here.

There are two slots on the under-barrel rail for mounting a flashlight. The new Staccato HD C3.6 accepts Glock 19 platform magazines and is available in three variants: Standard (stainless steel barrel, black iron sights, non-ported slide, 2 magazines), Extended (DLC-coated barrel, standard non-ported slide, Trijicon tritium sights, 3 magazines), and Premium (DLC-coated barrel, ported slide, Trijicon tritium sights, and a set of 4 magazines). The manufacturer's prices are 2299USD for the Standard version, 2499USD for the Extended version, and 2799USD for the Premium version. The expected availability on the Polish market is the first quarter of next year.
