The PCCs density per square meter on shooting ranges appears to increase exponentially due to the low cost of ammunition. Also in sports, they have become extremely popular, and competitions with their use pop out everywhere and gather crowds of players. It is hardly surprising that many manufacturers see this as an opportunity for profit and create their own models of rifles chambered for pistol ammunition or, if you prefer, submachine guns without the full-auto firing mode. The latest one is the Christensen Arms CA9MM model.
The CA carbine has a key feature that users are looking for, i.e. compatibility with Glock pistol magazines due to their wide availability and reliability. The CA9MM can be equipped with a 7.5, 10.5 or 16 inches long barrel. It should be noted that the barrels are the super light varieties with a carbon fiber sleeve, which increases their stiffness and reduces weight. They have have a 1/2x28 thread at the end for high compatibility with silencers and muzzle devices. The barrel proper is made of 416R stainless steel. At its end there is a three-prong flash hider.
Handguards are aluminum and covered with Magpul M-Lok slots. On the right and left side in the front part there are two QD slots for a carrying sling swivels. Depending on the barrel length, the set includes SB Tactical SBA3 forearm stabilizers or Mission First Tactical Minimalist stocks with a QD socket at the bottom. The latter company also supplied the pistol grips.
The CA9MM also received an enlarged trigger guard to facilitate shooting with gloves. Manipulators are standard and are not duplicated on both sides. A remnant of the forward assist can be seen on the upper receiver. The next two QD sockets for carrying sling swivels are on the plate ending the lower receiver. The magazine well is equipped with a built-in funnel supporting magazine change.
