Magpul Industries has for years maintained its position as a market hegemon, consistently pushing the boundaries of what shooters expect from polymer accessories. Its presentation at SHOT Show 2026 makes it clear that Magpul is no longer just a component supplier, but a creator of modern standards in ergonomics and functionality.

Responding to long-standing demands from the shooting community, Magpul has planned a radical refresh of its color palette for the first quarter of 2026. The rollout begins in January with the iconic Olive Drab Green (ODG), introduced for PMAG Gen M3 magazines in 10-, 20-, and 30-round configurations. February will expand the lineup with the Medium Coyote Tan (MCT) variant for .300 BLK magazines, while March will bring a full range of accessories in the new Modified Coyote Brown (MCB) shade. The introduction of MCB represents a strategic aesthetic adjustment — the new tone eliminates the excess orange hues typical of traditional Coyote Tan, offering significantly improved camouflage properties across varied terrain.

In the gear logistics segment, Magpul definitively closes the era of foam cutting with the introduction of the DAKA Universal GRID system. This modular organizer represents a revolution in space management inside transport cases, built around a durable polymer grid that users can configure themselves. Unlike traditional foam inserts, which degrade over time, crumble, and absorb moisture, the GRID system offers unmatched durability and long-term protection for valuable equipment. From the user’s perspective, this is an investment in maximum cost efficiency — a single system allows for virtually unlimited reconfiguration for different firearm models, optics, or accessories, eliminating the need to purchase new inserts every time a loadout changes.

Folding Defensive Platform (FDP), developed in cooperation with ZEV Technologies, is the definition of next-generation mobile defense. This compact design unfolds in a fraction of a second from a discreet, box-like profile into a fully capable fighting tool, proving that Magpul can combine exceptional mechanical refinement with distinctive design. The key to the FDP’s effectiveness lies in the precision ZEV trigger system and fully ambidextrous controls. While its dimensions suggest close-range use, field testing has demonstrated surprising accuracy, confirming the platform’s ability to effectively engage targets at distances of up to 200 meters. The FDP serves as a bridge between discretion and full operational readiness, going far beyond the realm of a mere technical curiosity.
Magpul’s expansion into segments previously dominated by other manufacturers is also evident in the new line of AMAG 15 SG9 steel magazines designed for the Sig Sauer P365 pistol. The use of corrosion-resistant stainless steel allows for thinner magazine walls while maintaining high durability, enabling a 15-round capacity in an exceptionally compact form factor. What is important for end users, these magazines are supplied with interchangeable grip sleeves, allowing for optimal fit with Standard, X, and XL frame variants.

At the same time, Magpul is making a strong push into the hunting market with its Hunter Lite stocks, designed for Short Action systems of popular rifles such as the Remington 700, Ruger American, and Savage Axis. An aluminum V-bedding block ensures stable action bedding and consistent accuracy, making this lightweight design an ideal choice for demanding hunts in challenging terrain.

At the Magpul booth, visitors could once again see the integrated Maztech X4 aiming assistance system, which we discussed in more detail here.
